The Best Brands of 8 Inch Tablet

Do you often find your smartphone too small and your laptop too bulky to use on the go? That’s where 8-inch tablets come in. They’re highly portable, and you’ll find that they have a big enough screen for viewing videos. You can also use them to read books on the go with ease.

When it comes to 8-inch tablets, most of them run Android with the exception of Apple devices which run iOS. Neither is better than the other and it all comes down to personal preference. For this list of the best brands for 8-inch tablets we’ll mostly be looking at Android but with the inclusion of one Apple device:

7. Winnovo M8

This tablet has a boxy design which makes it feel quite sturdy. The plastic back offers a good grip and the edges have been angled for easy holding with one hand. This is an 8-inch tablet that’s designed for watching videos on, as the screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels is slightly higher than usual. It also comes with front-facing speakers, perfect for movies or games where you prefer to play in landscape mode.

This tablet is powerful enough for casual gaming but doesn’t come with any special features such as GPS built-in. You’ll have to buy a separate wireless keyboard if you want one, or use your smartphone alongside this tablet instead.

6. Coopers CP80

The Coopers CP80 is an Android 8-inch tablet that comes with a nice-looking keyboard case. It’s perfect for people who need to use their tablets in both laptop and tablet mode, as it has the ability to convert into both. The IPS display also makes this device stand out from other similar products on the market since they usually only have screens of around 10 inches or more. The resolution is 1280 x 800, giving you a decent amount of pixels per square inch which will result in sharp images.

It comes with a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and the RAM is 2 GB, which makes it good for multi-tasking between apps without any lag or force closing of apps. The battery life also lasts quite a long time thanks to its 4300 mAh capacity, giving you around 8 hours of continuous use on one charge. It’s perfect if you’re using your tablet all day long as a portable computer rather than just when commuting from A to B via public transport.

5. Vankyo MatrixPad S8

The Vankyo MatrixPad S8 is a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable 8-inch tablet. This device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage so you’ll have plenty of space to store files, photos, and videos. It features an 8-inch screen that supports Full HD resolution plus anti-glare technology which makes it easier to use outdoors. The battery on the Vankyo MatrixPad S8 can last up to 7 hours when used continuously, so you’ll be able to use it for a while before needing to charge.

This is an affordable way of getting your hands on an 8-inch tablet that won’t cost a lot. The device comes with Android 4 installed and we’ve found that it works well enough, although not all apps are compatible due to its low-end specs. If you’re not looking for anything fancy, this is a great little device to use on the go.

4. VastKing KingPad SA8

If you’re looking for a cheap tablet that runs on Android, then the VastKing KingPad SA8 is an excellent choice. It comes with a dual-core processor and has 32GB of internal storage space so you’ll be able to download lots of apps onto it from Google Play. The screen resolution comes in at 1920 x 1200 pixels and the battery will give you up to 8 hours between charges so it should last all day if needed.

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A

The Galaxy Tab A is the third generation of Samsung’s budget lineup. It runs Android OS and features an 8-inch display that offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels on a TFT screen. There are two versions: one that comes with 16GB storage and 2GB RAM, and another that has 32GB storage and 3GB RAM. You can expand its memory by up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The tablet sports an 8 MP rear camera which is good for taking photos in good lighting, and a 2 MP front camera for selfies.

The Galaxy Tab A is powered by an Exynos 7904 processor that’s backed by 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM. It has a 6150 mAh battery which should be enough to give you hours of usage on one charge. While the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8-inch tablet may not be as impressive as some other Android tablets out there, it delivers solid performance at an affordable price tag of under $200. So, it may not be the best tablet out there, but it’s a good choice for anyone who is looking to save money.

2. Lenovo Tab M8 HD

The Lenovo Tab M8 HD is a solid tablet that comes with an 8-inch screen. It’s powered by a MediaTek processor and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. There are also two SIM card slots allowing you to use it on multiple networks at once, or one for calling and another for data only – great if you’re abroad but don’t want to pay extortionate roaming fees. It has 32GB of internal storage space which can be expanded via the microSD card slot, meaning you can store music, movies, and more on the tablet.

1. Apple iPad Mini 2

The iPad Mini 2 offers a great value tablet experience thanks to its display that’s both bright and vivid. It also has powerful sound quality with dual speakers, as well as a 1.2-megapixel front camera. Finally, it comes with a quick fingerprint sensor for security purposes. When you buy this tablet you’re getting premium features at a very low price point making the iPad Mini 2 one of the best options on this list. If Apple products aren’t your thing, don’t worry there are plenty of other great options to choose from.

The right brand of the tablet can be difficult to find, especially with so many brands out there. With that said, you shouldn’t just go with any old brand and hope things will work out. You need to do your research first before deciding on a gadget like this.

If you want to improve your tablet experience, then we suggest going with Apple. The brand has a great track record when it comes to tech products and their tablets are unique in the fact that they’re very responsive and easy to use. However, if you’re not a fan of iOS and prefer Android then look no further than a Lenovo or Samsung device.
