One way to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet is to dilute your favourite fizzy drink with an equal measure of water. This will help you get used to the taste and encourage you to wean yourself off the sugar. Once you have cut down on your consumption, try switching from regular soft drinks to light or even zero-sugar varieties.
